    Founded in present-day Gushikawa City, Okinawa Prefecture under a contract with the United States.
  • 1963
    Established in Urasoe City, Okinawa Prefecture as an affiliate of California-based International Dailies, Inc. Blue Seal BigDip Makiminato store opened.
  • 1972
    Japanese government approval to acquire shares.
  • 1976
    Changed the company name from International Dare's (Ryukyu) to Formost Blue Seal Co., Ltd.

    Approved by the Japanese government to expand business outside Okinawa Prefecture
